Empowering Lives Through Faith & Technology
Our New Start Project combines faith and technology to empower the Merrimack Valley community. Through our partnerships with local Christian professionals, businesses, and charities, we provide free resources to support spiritual, emotional, and financial growth, helping individuals build stronger, Christ-centered lives.

How New Start Project evolved
Our New Start Project was born out of a simple yet powerful desire—to bring hope and transformation to those struggling in the Merrimack Valley. It began with a small group of local Christians who saw the deep need for spiritual, emotional, and financial support in their community. With a passion for holistic care and a commitment to discipleship, they partnered with pastors, businesses, and charities to create a faith-driven resource hub. What started as a local outreach has now grown into an innovative platform that empowers individuals through mentorship, and community support, all rooted in the love of Christ.
Our Founder
David's story isn't one of having it all figured out—it's about learning that God specializes in using broken people who are honest about their brokenness. After losing his father at just 51, David spent twenty years living for immediate gratification, which led to severe health crises including congestive heart failure at 42 and later weighing nearly 300 pounds with an A1C of 12.5 by age 46. What followed was a dramatic physical transformation—losing 100 pounds in eight months and becoming a certified personal trainer—but he quickly realized that physical change without spiritual foundation was empty.
Finding faith in 2017 began the real journey, though it came with its own costs: lost relationships, a failed marriage, and a two-year battle with long COVID that God used to deepen his dependence on Christ. Through his own ongoing struggles with health, relationships, and learning to live by faith rather than his own strength, David discovered that transformation happens when biblical truth, scientific understanding, and mental toughness work together. God planted the vision for The New Start Project on David's heart in 2019, though a recent mission trip to Guatemala reignited his passion to move forward with this ministry dedicated to helping people discover they were designed for more than just surviving. David continues to learn daily what it means to rely on Christ's strength while helping others navigate their own journeys of transformation, convinced that God isn't finished with any of us yet.

Rest & Reflection
Key Scripture - Matthew 11:28–30
28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Action Step
Unplug for an hour; reflect on your week and jot down three wins.
